Senior Engineer – Earthworks

The hiring organisation is a well‑established international consultancy delivering complex infrastructure and built environment projects across multiple regions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Consultant to join a multidisciplinary team working on large‑scale developments from concept through to delivery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical leadership and coordination of design activities, contributing to projects of medium to high complexity. Working closely with internal specialists and external stakeholders, the role involves ensuring that designs are technically sound, compliant with relevant standards, and aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the development of concept, schematic, and detailed designs across infrastructure and/or building projects
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and supporting documentation for tender and construction stages
• Review designs for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Participate in meetings with clients, authorities, and project partners as required
• Support project delivery by managing assigned tasks, budgets, and timelines
• Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
• Significant professional experience gained within a consultancy or design‑led environment
• Strong technical capability within infrastructure, utilities, or the built environment
• Experience working on multi‑disciplinary projects and coordinating across teams
• Proficient in relevant engineering and design software
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to manage priorities effectively
